The factory track bar mounting tabs or "ears" on the upper end (drivers side) of the track bar on 2003 and up Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 series 4x4's are too thin and often the mounting holes get worn causing the track bar to move.

This movement causes the truck to wander and can be potentially dangerous. If this problem is not fixed the excessive movement of the track bar can cause the mount to crack and fail.

These build up plates are manufactured using ¼ inch steel that will prevent the mounting holes from wearing out and becoming oblongated.
